TRANSITION TIME OXYMEL

Welcoming Spring amidst the chaos. Enjoy the helpful benefits of herbs for supporting DIGESTION and IMMUNITY during the seasonal change from winter to spring.

Ingredients:
2 TBSP dried chopped dandelion root
2 TBSP dried nettle leaf
1 TBSP dried astragalus root
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup honey
— For extra digestive & immune support, we also added:
1 TBSP dried chamomile flowers
1 TBSP dried ginger root
1 TBSP dried lemon balm

Directions:
Add herbs to clean dry canning jar and cover with apple cider vinegar.
Place a piece of wax paper between the jar & lid to prevent the vinegar from eroding the metal lid.
Store in a cool, dark place and shake regularly to infuse for 6 weeks.
Once infused, strain herbs and mix vinegar and honey until combined.
Label and store in the fridge where it will keep for approx. 6 months.
Take up to 2 TBSP per day for digestive & immune support. We recommend taking after dinner as a digestif.

Save this post and make the infusion this week. Recipe from @herbalacademy.
