Tour America’s National Parks from your couch, shop small, and give back all in one. Luna Volta Founder Kayla takes you on a summer spent camping & hiking across America’s National Parks in #DaytripperTheBook.

Daytripper: 60 Days on the Road Exploring America’s National Parks, a woman-written thoughtfully-designed coffee table book from Luna Volta founder Kayla Clements inspired by her stint of #vanlife. Kayla spent the summer of 2017 exploring, camping, and hiking through nine states and twelve of America’s National Parks.

During the trip, Kayla reconnected to the land, to the beauty found in solitude with nature, and to the healing properties of regenerative agriculture and hemp. It became her mission to learn how to contribute to a brighter future and Luna Volta was born.

The book was successfully crowdfunded in 2018 and now is your chance to get to your hands on a limited first-edition *signed* copy that supports a good cause. All proceeds for the month of July will go to Sueños Sin Fronteras de Tejas (SSFTX), a Latinx, WOC-led collective providing health and healing support and access to immigrant womxn and children in the United States.

Sueños Sin Fronteras de Tejas (SSFTX) is a Latinx, Black, & WOC-led collective providing health and healing support and access to immigrant womxn and children in the United States.

There are thousands of immigrant womxn and children in our community and across the United States that do not have access to basic necessities such as housing, transportation, medical care, and food due to loss of wages or inability to work due to legal status. In addition, language inaccessibility and ineligibility for public benefit programs are significant barriers faced by families reaching out for assistance. SSFTX is currently assisting families in San Antonio and our national network with assistance in order to stay safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As an act of solidarity with the tens of thousands of people detained by ICE each day, Sueños sin Fronteras de Tejas (SFFTX) is launching a Commissary Fund for detained families at Karnes to purchase essential items and minutes to make phone calls to their loved ones.
