Our local surf community in San Diego, CA came together on June 6, 2020 for Paddle for Peace to stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. Surfers lined the beach for eight minutes and 46 seconds of silence in honor of George Floyd before paddling out, chanting, singing, mourning and ending with a symbolic flower toss.
